The inaugural Oban Sea Kayak Race for single and double sea kayaks took place in September 2010 and raised £1200 for Oban's lifeboat.
This years race included single sea kayaks, double sea kayaks, sea kayak teams and new to 2011, the introduction of Ocean Surf Skis.
Covering a distance of 20km, the race circumnavigated the beautiful and rugged Island of Kerrera, beginning and ending at Oban on Scotland's beautiful west coast. It's a demanding route, through remote and exposed waters, but one that makes for a memorable and fun event.
